If you are interested in having a look at what 3D in the home is going to look like we will have a viewing at our East Tamaki office from 4pm this Friday (5th). This viewing is retricted to industry professionals only.

Sorry for the late notice but the TV is here for this week only. As much as I would like to take it on the road it has to be returned next week.



If you want to have a look and you can make it please let me know via e-mail ASAP. This is pretty important as we need to get an idea of numbers.

We will also try to arrange some liquid refreshments – this could be a good chance for some healthy 3D debate.

Just to clarify in case of confusion -

What we will be showing on Friday will be a 50” Full HD 3D Plasma TV and is a pre-production sample of the technology that we will be selling into people’s homes.

The Broadcast Division of PNZ will have a 25.5-inch 3D LCD production monitor with full 1920 x 1200 resolution but this will not be available until September.

What we want to show on Friday is how 3D films and TV will be viewed at home by the consumer.

Even if you think that this technology will never take off - all the major TV set manufacturers and a lot of Television Stations around the world are betting good money that it will.

This TV set represents a huge part of the puzzle – how will people view 3D at home. For people in the business of content creation this is a must see.
