NZCS Awards 2020 postponed
The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on our community, our industry, and the New Zealand economy is forecast to be significant.
At NZCS we believe it would be irresponsible to carry on planning for a major black tie event as if things were normal. Unprecedented travel restrictions and lockdowns around the world shows that things are far from normal, even if the impact so far in New Zealand appears to be less than other countries.
For this reason, the NZCS Awards 2020 will not be held this year and will resume in 2021.
In the meantime we urge everyone to take play their part to help contain this pandemic.

The dinners begin with welcome drinks and photos in the foyer at 6:30 pm and guests will move into the Great Room for a 7:30 pm start. Guests enjoy a high quality plated banquet and wine in one of Auckland's premier venues.
The award presentation is broken up into short groups to allow for eating and socialising, and guests treated to a show of the breadth and depth of New Zealand cinematography as clips of each entry are played. To keep the evening moving, only gold winners will be allowed brief acceptance speeches.
An appropriate high-profile guest of honour is announced before the event.
The NZCS Award will include an afternoon session where guests and members can have an extended session with the guest of honour. Some sponsors will be invited to hold afternoon receptions.
More details of the afternoon sessions will be announced in September.
