NZCS Awards overview

About the NZCS Awards
The NZCS Awards, established in 2016, celebrate and honor outstanding cinematography from New Zealand. Inspired by the highly successful ACS Awards in Australia and similar awards worldwide, they aim to foster world-class talent within the industry.

For Cinematographers
The NZCS Awards offer a fantastic opportunity for cinematographers to have their work recognized by their peers and the wider industry, regardless of genre, format, or budget. With multiple gold, silver, and bronze awards available in each category, you can enter with confidence no matter where you are in your career. Earning an award or two is a great way to enhance your CV and advance your career.

For Sponsors
Sponsoring the NZCS Awards provides a unique and valuable platform to connect with key decision-makers in the New Zealand film industry. It's an excellent way to demonstrate your organisation's commitment to supporting Aotearoa’s cinematic excellence, and a sponsor plaque makes a great addition to your reception area.
